Mikhail Grabovski Gets Dazed, Scores Awesome Game Winning Goal

February 15 2011 Last updated at 10:20 PM ET

During Toronto's 4-3 win against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night, Maple Leafs forward Mikhail Grabovski was on the receiving end of a pair of hits from Zdeno Chara that clearly left him dazed and more than a little off balance. Following the second hit (both hits can be seen by clicking here) he actually stumbled and fell to the ice, instantly sparking debate as to whether or not he suffered a concussion.

Despite the concerns, he remained in the game and went on to score the winning goal in the final minute of regulation by dangling his way through the Boston defense and beating Tim Thomas with a highlight reel goal. It was his second tally of the game and his 24th of the season.

Check out the video...

Say what you want about the play of Boston's defense on the play or the quality of the shot (that's probably a shot Thomas stops more often than not) that's still some impressive work by Grabovski with the puck. It's been a breakout season for him having already set a new career-high in goals while he's also quickly closing in on his personal best in points. The concern now is figuring out whether or not he suffered a head injury.

In other news for Toronto: There was a Phil Kessel sighting in this game as he also scored a pair of goals, including a game tying marker late in the third period. The two goals were his first against his former team, having recorded just one assist in the nine previous games against the Bruins since they traded him to Toronto prior to the start of last season. As long as he's a member of the Leafs Kessel will always be under the magnifying glass given the price the Leafs paid for him, and the past couple of weeks had been no exception. Entering Tuesday's game he was riding 14-game goal-less drought. Certainly not a bad night for a slump-busting game if you're a Leafs fan.
